Float like a butterfly, sting like a brand new tattoo. It looks like One Direction‘s Harry Styles has inked himself yet again, and this time, it’s making quiet a bold statement. A Directioner posted a photo on Instagram of what appears to be Harry rocking a humongous butterfly smack dab in the middle of his chest.
By now, we all know how much Harry — and the rest of the 1D boys — love tattoos, but is this just a little too much? Up until now, many of the 19-year-old singer’s tattoos have been somewhat subtle and sort of looked like scribbles all over his body. A drawing here, a quote there, and aside from his large bird tattoos and the ship on his left arm, they didn’t seem to be that bad.
However, this butterfly is really taking things to another level. While we love Harry dearly, this is definitely going to change the way we view him shirtless — forever.

I honestly think he is totally going to regret this tattoo when he is older. No matter how much he wants to think that hes going to keep this body forever… he needs to get in check. His metabolism is going to slow down and hes just going to lose his body. I keep on picturing a beer gut with a butterfly on it….

That actually is harry. If you were a true directioner you would’ve seen the video a fan had taken at one of their concerts when Liam thought it would be funny to lift up Harry’s shirt and show off the tattoo.
I think its nice though but I agree about whats on the above– the way I picture him shirtless will change but I think its fine…let just let him do his stuff
if you love One Direction(just like I do– very much) you would still love them no matter what. 
Why can’t we just leave him alone? It’s his choice. He’s not stupid and he is mature and old enough to make his own decisions. Just like any of his other tattoos, we might think they’re pointless and stupid but there probably is meaning to him. Just let him do what he wants with his body and if you were a true fan, you would love him for what he is on the inside and not the outside. Geez people.

i REALLY REALLY hope that the butterfly tattoo is not real!!…im a HUGE fan of One Direction and i would have to say that harry is my favorite! but i really dont like his tattoos!…i think that a couple of tattoos are ok but he has sooo may and now that he supposably has that butterfly on his chest..i think tha its one too may and i dont really like it..! i mean i love Harry and im not hating but…i DONT like that he has soo many tattoos…and i wish he would stop!!!

I think it’s absolutely adorable but he might regret getting it done. What is the butterfly supposed to stand for? Is it for his mom, for his beloved “Nanny”, maybe it’s for a new secret girlfriend, who knows? (I hope it’s for me!) If he wants to get it removed he will, but getting a tattoo is his decision, and any tattoo would look mighty fine on him. Whether it’s something as small as a (2″)triangle or something as big as a (Butterfly or even a) unicorn, he is still sexy. We all love him dearly, and i don’t know about anyone else but i respect his decision 100%. At least he’s not getting plastic surgery and face lifts, and hopefully he NEVER does because otherwise he’ll probably end up looking like Joan Rivers in the long run, and NOBODY wants that!
