Justin Bieber just hasn’t been able to catch a break. His week in England resulted in the ‘worst birthday’ ever, tardiness that angered his fans, and a close call with the paparazzi. Now, Justin’s feeling the backlash more than ever as the media continues to scrutinize him. We feel so bad for JB, though we definitely think he could stand to learn a thing or two from our favorite over-achieving muggle-born witch, Hermione Granger. Maybe if he had these Harry Potter-themed tips before his trip to England, things wouldn’t have panned out quite so horribly…
Plan ahead for every possible scenario.
If there’s one thing Hermione’s good at it’s preparing for the unplanned circumstance. If it weren’t for her over-sized bag, Harry and Ron would have been out of luck on a number of occasions. If only Justin had planned a back-up location for his birthday bash — perhaps hidden by a concealment charm? — then he may have had the ‘best birthday’ ever. Sigh.
Don’t let your friends drink underage… unless it’s Polyjuice Potion, of course.
Rumor has it that Justin’s bday party was ruined because underage Jaden Smith was trying to make an entrance. While Justin was quick to squash the rumor, we can’t help but think how successful the night would have been if Jaden had just drank some Polyjuice Potion and posed as his dad for a few hours.
Keep your relationships private, until the Yule Ball.
Hermione kept her fling with Viktor Krum hush hush right up until the tournament champions’ first dance at the Yule Ball. The Biebs should’ve taken her lead and hung out with Ellapaige Roberts-Clarke in private until the time came for the two to go public. Instead, he sparked the public’s interest then denied the dating rumors via Twitter.
Only break the rules if Dolores Umbridge is involved.
Justin’s made it evident that he’s not really one to follow the guidelines set in front of him, which is fine… until you show up two hours late to your own concert! Maybe Justin should take Hermione’s advice and only break the rules when it’s a life-threatening situation — or when Dolores Umbridge is jeopardizing your safety.
Don’t make rash decisions.
Justin admitted that his ‘worst birthday’ tweet was posted in the heat of the moment. Justin should take a pointer from Hermione and force himself to calm down before making any bold social media choices.
We understand that Justin feels the need to defend himself from the press, but maybe multiple Twitter/Instagram rants isn’t the best way to go about it. After all, that’s just adding fuel to the fire. JB needs to be more like Hermione and remain level-headed and logical, at least when it comes to handling negative media attention.
When all else fails, borrow a time-turner.
Justin seriously could have used a one of these things when he was late for his concert in England. Let’ be honest, he could have used one the entire week. But since the TT is only temporary, it would have been most beneficial to go back two hours and not be late. Just remember…
There’s only so much you can take before you snap.
Even Hermione knows a thing or two about being fed up. Sometimes a punch in the face is really the only way to deal with constant harassment. Justin’s moment with the paps could have happened to anyone. Right, Hermione?
