We’re assuming that, by this point, you’ve had enough time to digest that both The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars are each getting its own spin-off television series. JIC you weren’t completely aware, TVD‘s is titled The Originals; PLL‘s is titled Ravenswood. While we at Teen.com are anxiously awaiting the premieres of the shows, we’re dying to get your opinions. So, we’ll give you a brief synops of the two below, then it’s up to you to determine which will be better based on the given info. Sounds fair, right?
The set-up of The Originals is tapped for the April 25 episode of The Vampire Diaries. Reports say it will revolve around the Original family, led by Joseph Morgan‘s character, Klaus. In the series, “Klaus returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago, and is reunited with his diabolical former protege, Marcel.” His siblings, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt), will be joining him for the ride, as well as Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and a handful or more of newbie additions.
Scheduled for debut after the Pretty Little Liars Halloween special this October, Ravenswood‘s already high up on the ‘creepy’ meter. ABC Family reveals, “Not far from Rosewood, PA, a deadly curse has plagued the citizens of Ravenswood for generations, and the curse is about to strike again. Five strangers suddenly find themselves at the mercy of this fatal curse and they must dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for all of them.” No talent’s been divulged so far, so stay tuned!
