It’s been a long time coming, but Disney-Pixar has finally confirmed that there will indeed be a sequel to 2003′s smash film, Finding Nemo! In a press release, both Ellen DeGeneres and the film’s director Andrew Stanton revealed that the sequel will be titled Finding Dory, and will hit theaters on November 25, 2015.

Ellen, who is the voice of Dory, spoke about the sequel and said, “I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”

The film’s director also revealed some plot details, including that it will take place about a year after the events of Finding Nemo, and it will move from the Eastern Australian Current to the California coastline. Also, you can expect to see Marlin, Nemo, and the Tank gang back in action. Also, some new characters will be added to the mix, as Dory tries to learn more about where she came from.
