Kristen Stewart Drops Out of ‘Focus’ Amid ‘SWATH 2′ Confirmation

Amid reports that the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel is officially on and set for release come 2015, news of star Kristen Stewart, who will reprise her role as heroine Snow White, dropping out of another film project is making headlines.

According to E! News, Kristen was tapped to play the female lead in Focus, but “she actually dropped out of the project months ago.” No further details have been given at this time.

But she’s not the only one to bow out of the flick. Last December, it was announced that male lead Ben Affleck was no longer able to fulfill the duties of the role because “the timing just couldn’t be worked out.” Instead, the latest reports now suggest that Will Smith will take over the reigns in Ben’s place.

Hath no fear, avid Kristen Stewart fans, the 23-year-old actress still has plenty of movies to look forward to. Besides SWATH 2, Kristen will play opposite The Hunger GamesElizabeth Banks in The Big Shoe, which is currently in pre-production.
