As if the Pitch Perfect sequel news wasn’t good enough, it looks like two of its stars are set to be in a comedy pilot for TBS! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Skylar Astin and Alexis Knapp will both star in Ground Floor, which centers on a young workaholic (Skylar) who meets the carefree support staff of his company, which leads him to realize he’s not as happy as he could be.
Alexis will play the role of wild child Tori, who mostly uses work as nap time, and “is quickly announced when Brody keeps interrupting her shut-eye.” The pilot is being produced by Bill Lawrence who is behind popular comedies such as Scrubs and Cougar Town.
This isn’t the only other time these two will share the screen. They will also both appear in the upcoming indie film, Cavemen. According to IMDB, Cavemen is a “comedic film with a slight edge of drama revolving around the lives of somewhat single, somewhat unemployed guys living in a warehouse converted to living quarters in the ‘Arts District’ of Downtown Los Angeles, California they are toiling adulthood and realities of love.”
