She’s one of the most sought-after musical acts at the moment, performing at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, on The Ellen Show and Dancing with the Stars in a matter of days, yet Selena Gomez‘s personal life is still the hotter topic. (Hey, that’s what you get for having an on-again/off-again relationship with Justin Bieber.)

In an interview on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, the 20-year-old singer addresses both topics (somewhat). However, we’re gonna keep to the juicier portion of the program. Just ’cause. Selena begins, “I’m in my twenties. I wanna have fun. I wanna enjoy my life and not have to worry about every single thing.”

She continues, “I think I’ve actually given enough of myself, if that makes sense. I feel within my music, and even how I handle myself in interviews, people think they know, but they really actually don’t… In a way, I like to keep myself a little bit private, but at the same time people do assume things.”

Well of course people are going to assume things when you fly off to Norway in the middle of promoting your album just to see your ex, and a sensual picture of the two of you “accidentally” hits the Internet.

Have you weighed in on the since-deleted Instagram picture? Would you like to see Jelena back together? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below, or on our Selena Gomez message board!
