Maybe this is the reason for Bella Thorne‘s newly lightened locks? Deadline is reporting that the Disney star has booked a prime role in the upcoming big screen romantic comedy Blended.

Starring Adam Sandler and Drew BarrymoreBlended will center on two single parents (Adam and Drew) who have a pretty lousy blind date, but then end up stuck together at the same family resort with their kids from previous marriages. Though the two get off on the wrong foot, you can assume that sparks will be flying by the end of the movie. Bella will take on the role of Adam’s daughter. Blended is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2014.

Bella sure has a busy few months ahead of her! Not only is her Disney Channel show Shake It Up! in its third season, but she recently signed a deal with Hollywood Records, and will pen her own YA book!

Bella tweeted about the movie news saying:

What do YOU think of this movie news? Will you see Bella on the big screen when Blended hits theaters? Sound off in the comments section!
