Rebel Wilson is getting her own TV show! On Friday it was announced that the Pitch Perfect star’s show, Super Fun Night, had been picked up to series by ABC. The show originally was announced last year, with CBS behind it, but they decided to pass, with ABC obviously taking it on.

We guess the fact that Pitch Perfect was a smashing success might have something to do with it? Either way, we can’t wait to see Rebel on TV every week! Still no details on what night the show will air, or when it will premiere, but we’ll keep you updated!

Super Fun Night centers on a junior attorney named Kimmie (Rebel) who does the same thing every Friday night with her nerdy BFFs. In fact, they even have a motto for it: “Friday Night Fun Night”: “Always together! Always Inside!”  However, when Kimimie gets a promotion, she’s asked by some colleagues — and a cute guy — to join in on their Friday fun which includes partying at a trendy club. Kimmie is determined to find a way to balance both, and must convince her friends to take the party outside — literally.

Rebel tweeted about the big news, saying:

Congrats, Rebel! We couldn’t be more excited! Will YOU watch her show? Sound off in the comments!
