The competition is over in the Battle of the Canadian Celebrities (you know, since Canada Day was this month). In the final round, it came down to Nina Dobrev and Ryan Gosling. But, while each of them nabbed a significant amount of Teen reader votes, only one can be crowned the overall victor. And that person is…

…Ryan Gosling! The Crazy Stupid Love/The Notebook/Drive/Gangster Squad/etc. heartthrob edged out his Vampire Diaries opponent by nearly 300 votes in his favor. Congrats, RyGos! But wait, there’s still one more contestant we need to acknowledge:

    Katie says:

Nina Dobrev isn’t canadian. She’s bulgarian. Her birthplace is Sofia, Bulgaria.
So why is she in this contest????

    Celeste says:

I agree that Cory should have won in light of everything, but thank you Teen for his honorable mention!

    Ally says:

Wow, I’m actually surprised that found my comment! It was unexpected, but I never thought that our love was so important. Especially in this battle. It’s fine that Cory didn’t win, but at least he was an honorable mention. He will be missed.

    Sammy says:

    Aw! Cory should have won!
