It’s starting, guys. The year of Lily Collins has commenced. After gracing the cover of Glamour‘s July 2013 issue, we said that you should expect to see Lily Collins on, like, all magazine covers thanks to this kind-of-a-big-deal movie, The Mortal Instruments. And we were right! Seventeen‘s taken notice of the 24-year-old star, and she’s not holding anything back in her interview…
By being the lead in the next blockbuster franchise, Lily will definitely be compared to Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart. But it’s alright in Lily’s book as she admittedly looks up to both of them: “I admire how they’ve both handled the fame that came with those roles and their ability to step outside those roles and do other projects. That’s what I want to do: balance fun big movies with gritty passion projects I love.”
But, unlike KStew, Lily’s not going to keep her relationship to herself. When asked about her on- and off-screen love, Jamie Campbell Bower, she says, “We’ve made a conscious decision to go out and live life. I’m not one to hide anything, but I don’t feel the need to comment directly on it… I think it would be a shame to not live in the moment and not enjoy everything that’s happening in fear of other people’s opinions.”
