After the shocking death of the talented actor on July 13, the public was left wondering how the creators of the show would end Finn Hudson’s storyline. There’s already a tribute in the works set for the third episode of the upcoming season, but the exact cause for the tragedy is still up in the air. According to Us Weekly, Lea Michele‘s playing an integral part in that decision.
Cory’s on- and off-screen love is reportedly involved in the process, helping the writers plan the October 10 memorial show, which is said to address the drug-related demise of the beloved character. Lea’s offering her input to Glee creator Ryan Murphy because she “wants it to reflect the truth, to warn people what can happen.”
This past week, the 26-year-old actress tweeted her first picture on the set since Cory’s passing, saying: “Feels so good to be home.” No further details have been given as to the meaning behind the photograph, but Lea did mention the day before that there’s a special tune tapped for her character: “Couldn’t have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with.”
