As much as they’ve tried to deny it in the past, things are looking grim for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Though the engaged couple, who met on the set of The Last Song back in 2010, walked the red carpet together as recently as August of this year, the latest suggests that a ‘wrecking ball’ has hit their relationship…

On Saturday, September 14, the 20-year-old singer did what most women do when they’re on the outs with their men: she unfollowed him on Twitter. *gasp* When we asked Teen readers their thoughts on the matter, most didn’t see the big deal. @unic0rnwings_ even said, “It’s probably nothing, people are probably over-thinking it as usual.”

However, the same day the former Hannah Montana star unfollowed the hunky Aussie, he jetted off to Las Vegas for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Canelo Alvarez boxing match, and was spotted not only sitting near Twilight actress Ashley Greene (see below), but partying with her as well.

Then, of course, there’s all of those January Jones rumors, but we’re not gonna focus on that part. Do you think Miam’s over (or at least close to over)? Weigh in via the comments below, or on our Miley Cyrus message board!

UPDATE: PEOPLE reports that the engagement is off!

Let’s talk about Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” music video, shall we?

I ship Miam so hard. :( they were so cute. Sure, Miley has changed, but she’s maturing. Just cause she changed her appearance and song choice and public view does not mean she changed her personality or love towards others. Miam was perfect. They can’t be over…

Honestly Miley may not seem as the “old Miley” but how the hell do we know she has changed towards the people she love, it could just be what she has shown the public that has changed. Im sick and tired of people saying he fell in love with the old miley, honestly people you have no idea. stop.

    Angeline says:

Well, that’s good for Liam as Miley is not the same old Miley anymore (although I didn’t like her in the very beginning), and I don’t see any big deal of Liam hanging out with Ashley Greene. It’s nothing big, seriously though. It’s nothing unusual to talk about them hanging out unless they held hands, kissed or whatsoever that a couple would do. So yep.

I don’t think Liam wanted to marry this Miley. He fell in love with the old one.
