The worlds of Divergent and Twilight are colliding! Deadline is reporting that Divergent‘s Theo James has signed on to appear in the indie drama Franny, alongside Twilight Saga star Dakota Fanning. So, what’s the flick all about? It centers on a “gregarious hedonist” — played by Pretty Woman star Richard Gere — “who finds a renewed sense of purpose by desperately ingratiating himself into the lives of a young couple.”

We’re going to go ahead and assume that Dakota, 19, and Theo, 28, are playing the aforementioned couple, but we could be wrong since not too many other details are known about the flick as of yet. Filming is set to begin on October 21 in Philadelphia, with no exact release date.

Aside from this project, these two both have quite a lot going on. Obviously Theo is set to star as Four (!) in the big screen adaptation of Veronica Roth‘s book Divergent, while Dakota has projects such as Night Moves, The Last of Robin Hood, and Effie Gray all in various stages of either being released or in production, etc.

What do YOU think of Theo and Dakota sharing the big screen? Sound off in the comments!
