Young Adult Book Author Poll

Only four are left in our search for Teen.com readers’ Favorite Young Adult Author after just saying goodbye to Richelle Mead and Veronica Roth. We still love you guys! Right now, the numbers are SO big (over 20k each!) and SO close. But who deserves the #1 spot? Here are the current rankings:

1. J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter)
2. Cassie Clare (The Mortal Instruments)
3. Suzanne Collins (The Hunger Games)
4. John Green (The Fault in Our Stars)

Whether or not you disagree with the above standings, you need to make your choice. Remember, with only one vote left per reader, every vote counts.

This list is fair, they’re all very good authors, but I kind of wish that Veronica Roth would have made it to the top three.

I think this is fair. They are all awesome book. As much as I want THG in be 1 and Divergent 2 and TFIOS 3 and TMI 4 haha the rest I don’t care. ha

I’m a huge Hunger Games fan, but I’m not such a huge fan of Suzanne Collins (if that makes sense at all). She doesn’t do a lot of interviews, and sure she deserves her privacy of course, but when you write a #1 bestselling book, you have to accept a few interviews. Anything she really does is so obviously scripted. I do think that John Green deserves to be higher ranked.

    J.K. Rowling all the way!!!

  13. Teen.com
    Cassie says:

I love almost every single one of these authors!! But it makes me sad that John Green and Cassandra Clare weren’t a little higher!
