We’re sure you’ve heard the news about the Jonas Brothers split by now — if not, where have you been?! — but they finally decided to open up about going their separate ways (creatively, that is).

Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas stopped by Good Morning America on Thursday and said that it wasn’t an easy decision. Kevin boldly stated: “We feel like it’s time that the Jonas Brothers comes to an end.”

Nick also opened up, and admitted he was the one to initiate the “break up” conversation. “We’re family first and that’s always been our main priority and so honesty within what we do as a group was really important. I came to the table with the guys and shared my heart with them and my feelings. I said, ‘Look, I feel like we’ve had some complications within the group for a long time [and] without addressing them I think this train will fall off the tracks.” Nick continued, ”It was a tough conversation. It was the first time we really had that real conversation.”

Well, we’re certainly not ready for this. We all knew it was coming, but them talking about just makes it TOO real. We thought Vine would be the best way to express our feels right now, so check it out our emotions summed up in six seconds below. This baby knows what’s up…
