As you have seen, a world without Ed Sheeran would SUCK big time. How could we live sans his sweet tunes?? But for this edition of The World Without, we're switching gears to his Red tourmate, Taylor Swift. Would it blow as hard as a life minus the singer behind "The A Team?" Let's find out…

The world would not know the magic of "Everything Has Changed."

Glitter would never get as much time on the red carpet…

We Heart It

…or polka dots on the street.

Taylor Swift, Polka Dots

Curly-haired chicks wouldn't have as big of an icon.

Red lipstick would drop in sales.

The number 13 would still be seen as bad luck mainly.

We Heart It

Audiences would see less dance moves like these:

Furthermore, Selena Gomez would not have as interesting of a partner in crime.

Joe Jonas wouldn't be known as a wimp for breaking up with a chick via voicemail.

And, finally, those hate songs we're all accustomed to would never have come into existence.

Taylor’s songs aren’t ‘hate’ songs. That really sickens me. I see Kanye’s head in that gif about the victimisation, so the maker of that gif obviously doesn’t know Taylor’s music. She wrote a song ‘Innocent’ which clearly said that she forgave him and that it was okay because he only made a mistake like everyone does. Writing about love and past experiences isn’t showing any sign of hate. Better Than Revenge is the only song in her entire discography that you could pin ‘hate’ against, and its not directly shaming or victimizing anyone. The people who write these articles should really download every album and song that the artist has ever released and listen to them before making assumptions about the aim or meaning of the music.

I’m not a huge fan of Swift’s but frankly, I think it’s distasteful you make a generalization about her songs. They are not ‘hate’ songs. She is not hating on anybody. She is writing about her experiences, as songwriters are wont to do. And granted, some of her songs have ended up petty (Better Than Revenge) but in no way is she victimizing or hating anyone. It’s absolutely disgusting to me to see you guys make such a crude – and wrong – stereotype about Swift’s artistry. Let’s be honest, there are much more ‘hateful’ songs than the ones that she pens.

Hate songs? Really? You must have never heard her songs then. I didn’t know singing about a relationship counted as hate.
