Well, it looks like the Cyruses are ready to put to all out there (more so than they already do). The famous family recently signed up for their very own YouTube channel — titled SeriouslyCyrusTV – so now instead of just being updated on Miley’s life 24/7, we’ll get to know other members of her clan much better.
Each member gets their own little “show,” such as “Truly Tish” (for Miley’s mom) and “Take 2″ (for little sis Noah). Now, they certainly wouldn’t be the first celebrity famous to put their lives on display for the world to see, and even though they’re doing it on YouTube, let’s not forget about the famous families who’ve tried their hand at reality TV.
While for some, putting their lives on TV has done wonders, for others, it ended up tearing them apart. Check out 10 famous families who’ve done reality TV — and where they are now — by clicking through the gallery below!
1. Hogan Knows Best
This reality show -- which chronicled the life of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan and his family -- ran on VH1 from 2005 to 2007. Things have pretty much been terrible for them ever since. Son Nick was involved in a car crash that killed his friend, while Hulk and Linda eventually split. Looks like the spotlight was a little too much for them to handle. However, Hulk did remarry in 2010, while Brooke was briefly engaged in 2013.
2. Run's House
Running from 2005 to 2009, this MTV show gave us a look into the life of Run DMC rapper Rev Run. This was a fun show that didn't thrive on crazy drama -- and we loved it for that very reason. In fact, everyone seems to be doing well post-show. Rev's daughter Vanessa is currently expecting a baby, while they're returning to TV in Rev Run's Renovation which will chronicle them while they redo their home.
3. House of Carters
Nick and Aaron Carter appeared on this E! reality show with their family for just one season in 2006. It chronicle the lives of them along with their sisters Leslie, B.J. and Angel. Aaron filed for bankruptcy in 2013, and tragically, they lost their sister Leslie at just 25 years old in early 2012 to an overdose. However, Nick has been doing well, is engaged, and has been touring with the Backstreet Boys.
This MTV reality show -- that ran from 2002 to 2005 -- made Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey into household names. However, the show and the marriage didn't last, as they split in 2005. Jessica has found success thanks to her Jessica Simpson fashion line, and has two kids with her fiance Eric Johnson. Nick also has found a happy ending, as he's married to Vanessa Lachey and they welcome a son in 2012.
5. Living Lohan
Running on E! for just one season in 2008 -- during the height of Lindsay's legal troubles -- this show gave an inside look at her mom Dina as she tried to get her sister Ali's modeling career off the ground. Ali has done OK for herself in the modeling world, while Dina was arrested for a DUI in September 2012. However, Lindsay seems to be doing well as she is currently filming a docuseries for Oprah's OWN network.
6. Kimora Lee Simmons: Life in the Fab Lane
Kimora's reality show ran on the Style Network from 2007 to 2011 and chronicled her life as a mogul and mom. Nowadays, she's still a mom and mogul -- but ended things with her spouse Djimon Hounsou in 2012. Kimora debuted another reality show titled House of Fab in early 2013, but it only ran for one season.
7. Tia & Tamera
These twin sisters gave fans an inside look at their lives on the Style Network show Tia & Tamera which ran from 2011 to 2013. Both are happily married moms, and Tia has kept her acting career going by starring on the Nick at Nite show Instant Mom.
8. The Osbournes
The Osbournes really crated the genre of famous families on TV when the self-tilted MTV show aired from 2002 to 2005. Kelly and Jack both struggled with addiction, but now Kelly is a host on E!'s Fashion Police and is happily engaged. Jack competed on Dancing with the Stars and is now a married father. Sharon co-hosts The Talk while Ozzy is still rocking.
9. Married to Jonas
This E! reality show debuted in August 2012, and is still going strong. Though The Jonas Brothers are no longer, we're sure we'll get a look into Kevin and Danielle's lives as they get ready to welcome their first child together.
10. Keeping Up With the Kardashians
Yeah, we have a feeling you've been keeping up with them since the show debuted on E! in 2007. Kim is engaged to Kanye West and they have a baby girl named North, while Kendall is busy being a model, and Khloe has filed for divorce from Lamar Odom after four years of marriage. Oh, and Kris and Bruce are splitting too. Guess it's not all good in the world of the Kardashian/Jenner clan.
