It was a star-studded night at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards — just look at all the winners! While we’re happy to say that our faves from both The Vampire Diaries and Glee attended the event AND scored big wins, there’s one category that’s caused a bit of a rift between the two fandoms on the Interwebs: On-Screen Chemistry.
Real-life former loves Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev took home the prize for their characters’ sometimes-steamy/sometimes-heartbreaking TVD scenes, causing controversy and debate among the Klaine shippers. Many are coming out of the woodworks to claims that Delena won not because of the chemistry, but because the public just didn’t want to see Darren Criss and Chris Colfer‘s gay characters take home the win:
