Millions of Justin Bieber‘s Beliebers may still support him through his latest ordeals, but there are about 70,000 people (and counting) who have had enough of his antics. So much so, that they’re rallying to get him taken out of the United States.

In a petition created on January 23 via We the People, it states, “We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug-abusing Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people, but he is also a terrible influence on our nations youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”

This request was processed through the same site where Smilers attempted to get Miley Cyrus“Party in the USA” as the National Anthem. However, while that fell way below the 100,000-signature mark needed, the petition against the “As Long As You Love Me” singer is 70% of the way there. What will it mean if/when it actually reaches the goal? Only time will tell…

Where do you fall in the great debate involving the Biebs? Are you a Belieber? Are you done with the 19-year-old’s reckless behavior? Or are you worried about him? Whatever you’re feeling, let’s chat about it in the comments below, or on our Justin Bieber message board.

    Someone says:

TBH I think that justin bieber should be booted from america. 1) He’s ruining our reputation 2) Younger audiences are influenced by his choices. Don’t you dare say they aren’t influenced. Everything influences others. 3) Justin’s drama is just sooo tiring. I do like him, but I’m just tired of this. 4) Kids (Not all) think if they are a celeb they can get away with whatever Just Sayin’

They can’t just kick him out of America….sure he should pay a price (not just money and something he’ll actually learn from) but kicking him out is too far.
Besides he was born in Canada….good luck

    Allie says:

I just think he should get punished for his mistakes, and not just get some small fine he doesn’t give a crap about.
Of course he can just pay himself out of any trouble because he’s famous.

Booting him out of America for good is taking it a little too far, but he should get away from the media for a while. And actually pay for his mistakes.

    Melanie says:

This whole entire thing is so STUPID!! If the media would stop focusing on all the mistakes Justin has made, maybe then people would realize what a great guy he really is. But NO, nobody gives a shit about all the good things Justin has done! All they see is his mistakes and the talent they’re OBVIOUSLY jealous of. And ya know, I think the nations youth should be insulted by that petition! I mean, do you really think we’re stupid enough to be influenced by the mistakes Justin makes? No, we’re not! Beliebers are influenced by all the great things Justin has done. And BTW, getting Justin deported won’t stop him from influencing us, so everyone who signed that petition just wasted their time. I think what Justin really needs is 1) the paparazzi to leave him alone and 2) to spend time with his family and by “family” I mean Pattie, Jeremy, and his little brother and sister. Oh and sending hate to Justin isn’t going to change anything, it’s just gonna make it worse so just back off and LEAVE JUSTIN ALONE!!

      Jordan says:

I think you’re a tad brainless, Melanie. He does life-threatening things like drunk driving and egging a man’s house, and never faces punishment. He gets positive reinforcement for his negligent behavior from his fans, and continues to do it. His cruel acts outweigh the good that he used to contribute.

It’s true, Justin has made many mistakes,
But society is taking it way too far with all
This. And there are a few problems, society
Focuses too much on his mistakes. No one
Is perfect, everyone makes mistakes. Why
Not focus on all the good things he has done
And society takes things as it is. They don’t look
At the other side of the story. How do you people
Know he wasn’t going through a lot when he
Was drinking in Miami. Do you ever think that
Justin was probably drunk in Miami
Because he had too much pressure on him
From haters and society. Pit yourself in his
Shoes. He’s only 19 and has so much on him.
And still he helps his beliebers, he writes music
And he does through hate and judgement
    From everyone.

    Evie says:

This is fucking stupid, people have gone way too far now and are being pathetic and just joining the crowd by going against Justin as they may think it’s “cool” and “funny.” There are plenty of people (including celebrities) in America who have done similar antics that Justin has done but nobody wants them out of America. This is honestly the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard… Anyway what difference will it make to Justin if he isn’t allowed in Canada? He may still do the things he does (if he hasn’t already learnt) and of course it’ll end up all over the media, for the whole of America to still witness so I do not see the problem in him staying in America.

He should at least think of how he influences teens these days and do better.

    Whitney says:

This is the dumbest thing ever, the only reason he’s getting pooped on so much is because he’s in the public eye.. For all I know my neighbour down the street could have driven drunk and what all he would get if caught is a ticket and a suspension on his license, the neighbour on the other side eggs peoples houses, heck my house has been egged before. Yes it sucks but it’s washable, people need to get over hating on him. If he was an ordinary person who lives down your street you wouldn’t give too thoughts about petitioning on removing these other people from where ever. People need to grow up, they act so immature about this situation. He’s in the public eye all the time lack of privacy, started at a young age, I’d go a little wild too if I was under all that pressure as well, people all take pressure differently. Yeah his choices aren’t great, but were worried about bieber doing these things where as how many children go missing each and everyday, and people are worried that bieber egged a house or wasn’t even actually drunk not drag racing. People need to get their priorities in order and stop worry about some teen pop star. Bigger things in the world people.

      Jordan says:

If he was a normal person, he would already be deported for committing crimes outside of his birth country. His past crimes have been forgiven because of his celebrity status – that’s why he’s still here. I don’t believe in celebrity immunity from punishment, and neither should you.

He should be deported because he is just making a fool of himself and giving himself and celebrities a bad name

    Jodie says:

It’s true that Justin has made many mistakes in the last year or so. But people have to try and put themselves in his position. Everybody makes mistakes.some people more than others.but at the age of 19 almost every human being is trying to find him or herself and it’s an age where pepole will do stupid things.maybe he could consider going to rehab or taking a break from his busy work schedule. But I don’t think Justin has a good enough reason to be deported. Even Obama doesn’t approve of him being deported. Give him a chance and try to see the god in people rather tHan judge them so easily without even understanding or knowing what they at going through. No one knows what goes on in his mind and we sure as he’ll can’t change him overnight.so give him time away from the camraw and away from all this drama to sort himself out.

      Jordan says:

While I agree that he needs time away from the celebrity limelight, not every 19-year-old has participated in drag racing, called an overweight girl a beached whale, and has been carried up the Great Wall of China. Justin demonstrates rude, careless actions over and over again, and is NEVER punished. A normal teen who committed crimes outside of his/her birth country would be deported. Why is Bieber an exception?
