Well, it looks like we won’t be seeing Ariana Grande and Chris Brown‘s collab any time soon. The two have been teasing their duet “Don’t Be Gone Too Long” for quite some time on Twitter, but after Chris landed himself in jail on Friday, Ariana confirmed that the release of single would in fact be pushed back.

The “Right There” singer broke the news in a series of tweets, saying:

In case you haven’t heard, Chris was arrested on Friday March 14 in Malibu for violating his probation after he was kicked out of the rehab facility he had been getting treatment at for the last four months. In turn, leaving the rehab was a direct violation of his parole stemming from his arrest from beating Rihanna back in 2009.

And even though Chris was in jail all weekend — and will be there until April 23 — a tweet promoting the collab was sent out:

Though, now it looks like it’ll be a while before we hear their song together. What do YOU think of this news? Are you bummed? Tell us in the comments!
