Well, Justin Bieber sure thinks a lot about himself, doesn’t he? Nearly one year after hoping Anne Frank would’ve been a Belieber, and a full two months since posting side-by-side pictures of Michael Jackson and himself leaving police custody post-arrest, the 20-year-old is making waves for comparing himself to the cultural icon that is James Dean.

Over the weekend, the “As Long As You Love Me” singer posted a picture of himself on Instagram, channeling the late Rebel Without a Cause actor (re: above). The caption: “This is James Dean inspired. Don’t ask me if I smoke ciggys cuz I don’t,” along with a crown emoticon. And, to show how close of a replica his pose was, he then posted a photo of James Dean.

While this may’ve all been in good fun to the young star, not everyone found it to be a pleasure:

He’s not insulting him. If someone people actually liked recreated this picture then everybody would love it.
