It's the Harry Potter prequel news you didn't realize you've been waiting to hear; after Daniel Radcliffe broke our hearts, saying he wouldn't be a part of the megawatt franchise's prequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Emma Watson divulged information that could perhaps mend those shattered fandom hearts.

During the junket for the 23-year-old's new film, Noah, she revealed to MTV News the she would not oppose being a part of the spin-off, "I would definitely be up for a cameo!" The obvious downside is that she would most likely not portray her beloved HP character, Hermione Granger, as Fantastic Beasts predates her existence.

During her interview with Wonderland magazine, when Emma was a guest editor, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling said to the actress, "I'll tell you what I really want. I want you and Dan and Rupert [Grint] in really heavy makeup in the background of a scene in Fantastic Beasts, and I'll join you and we'll sit in a bar room having a laugh for an afternoon. Do you not think that would be fantastic?" Umm, yes, that sounds fantastic to us!

So, what do you think of the possibility of Emma joining the Harry Potter prequel? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below, and make sure to see her in Noah, in theaters today!
