Yesterday Jennifer Lawrence told the world about how Miley Cyrus told her to “get it together” outside of an Academy Awards party earlier this year. And, in typical Miley fashion, she was not going to let J. Law be the one to get the final word in. The 21-year-old singer took to Twitter last night to deny the rumors and actually replied to a fan who posted a link to the story. According to MiCy, the incident “never happened.”

Miley quickly deleted her tweet to @imafemalerebel, who she follows on Twitter, but it wasn’t before multiple Twitter accounts got screenshots of the interaction. Neither Miley nor the fan account have acknowledged the incident or the deleted tweet since it was originally posted.

We’re not sure why Miley decided to get rid of her response so quickly after posting, but clearly something fishy is going on here. Tell us your thoughts on the entire situation in the comments below. Do you think one of the ladies is lying?
