Years ago, the world (well, besides us) was relieved to hear that One Direction would NOT be starring on a Nickelodeon TV show. Remember? Louis Tomlinson said at the time, "We are doing the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, but as far as a TV show goes we haven't sat down and had that conversation. If it was up to me personally, I just want to focus on the music for now." Then there were talks about the lads doing a 10-part reality television series at the end of 2013. Well, hang onto your hats, Directioners, because more 1D TV rumors are about to come your way; this time, in the form of a comedy show.
Multiple outlets are reporting that "the boys and the team have agreed that taking an extended break is not needed. They have been loving the tour so far and have all got a renewed lease of energy. Discussions about another stadium tour next year are already on-going." We know the latter part of that statement is true what with the fresh announcement of the On the Road Again 2015 world tour.
The reports continue, "A new TV show is also being discussed. At this stage the pilot sees them living in Los Angeles by the beach… Comedy writers will be working on it, so that it really gives all the boys a chance to shine and be a great advert for their new music… The show will be peppered with guest cameos too. The plan is for the boys to see a pilot in the spring. No series has been commissioned yet and it is all very hush-hush."
