FYI Demi Lovato was on another Disney Channel series before landing her own show Sonny With a Chance! If you’re a HUGE Lovatic then we know you already knew this fact, but those of you who forgot it was called As the Bell Rings. The Disney show only lasted two seasons, starting in 2007, but it was pure gold. Come on, anything with Dems in it has to be good.
The series, which took place in between classes, before the bell rang, duh, had a few other big names way before they were on Hollywood’s hotness radar. They had a future musician (no, not Demi this time), a now soap opera star and a few movie stars in their cast and they didn’t even know it. Trust us, this cast is pretty star studded. Check out who they are and what they’re up to now below.
Tony played the totally dreamy, Danny Neilson on the series and he won our hearts episode after episode. After his Disney Channel series debut, he went on to star on the TV show, Gigantic. He has also been in Beneath the Darkness, The Purge and a few movie shorts. You might remember him most however from his musical career. He is one half of the duo MKTO. Alongside his musical partner, Malcolm David Kelley he has released three albums since the duo began in 2012. Pretty impressive.

The blonde beauty who played Tiffany Blake on the series, has stuck to acting since her Disney days. In fact, Carlson's first gig ever was on As the Bell Rings. Since its end in 2009 she has guest starred on Pretty Little Liars, True Blood and The League. She has had many more guest starring roles including a few episodes on Pair of Kings and Key and Peele, but her biggest role to date is on Scream. The Texas native is currently starring on the MTV series as Brooke Maddox. Plus, she has a new movie coming out later this year!

Seth started his acting career as a guest star on Without a Trace, but his first big role was playing Thomas "Toejam" James on the Disney Channel series. Seriously, he was so sweet and cute! Once the show ended he became the king of guest stars appearing on iCarly, Hank, Criminal Minds and Workaholics. His is better known however for his movie gigs. He played Brad in Paranormal Activity 2 and was Perkins in P-51 Dragon Fighter. Talk about being a busy guy.

Gabriela, who played Brooke Nichols on the Disney comedy, has had a steady career when it comes to TV acting. After being on the Disney Channel for two years she starred in The Tenant before heading back to television. She landed the role of Gabi Hernandez on Days of Our Lives in 2009 and played her for 52 episodes before leaving the show in 2010. Gabriela was even nominated for a Young Artist Award for her performance on the Daytime TV series in 2011, which is totally awesome. Since she left the soap opera world she hasn't done much acting, but we're sure she'll pop back up soon.
Collin is pretty MIA these days. He played the memorable character of Skipper Adamson on As the Bell Rings for 16 episodes and we loved him in every one of them. Once he was done being a goofball on the show, he was in Bad Kids Go to Hell as the "Wheelchair Kid." That movie hit theaters in 2012 and Collin hasn't acted since. He also worked on the video short, No Way Out as a boom operator that same year.

Although Demi only played Charlotte Adams for 15 episodes (she was super cute btw), she is probably the most successful star from the Disney Channel show. After playing the musically talented character she went on to have her own Disney show, Sonny With a Chance. She was also in Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and Princess Protection Program. Plus, she has guest starred on Grey's Anatomy and Glee. She is currently filming Get Smurfy where she will voice Smurfette!
Music wise, Demi has been kicking butt. She has released four albums since starring on her first Disney series and she released her latest single, "Cool for the Summer" during summer 2015 and it's amazing.
