With celebrity romances come celebrity breakups. Nowadays, there are SO many crazy things that happen once anyone breaks up; when it comes to stars, it gets even more complicated. While famous people are best friends with their exes and, therefore, make you want to befriend your former flame, others aren’t as lucky.
There are those celebrities tho throw shade at their ex on stage, while others sing about them in their tunes. Basically, once these power couples call it quits, there is a LOT of dissing that goes on. The biggest issue now might be all of the dissing that takes place on social media. Here are some of the most prime examples:
Selena and Justin Bieber cannot stop their on-again-off-again romance and it is so complicated sometimes.
After Sel was spotted out and later seen kissing Niall Horan in November 2015, Selena openly dissed her ex and supported her new flame on Instagram.
In December, when a fan posted a question about which CD she should buy, either Justin's Purpose or One Direction's Made in the A.M., Selena decided to comment on her post and add in her opinion. She simply wrote, "MADE IN THE AM." It looks like she's made her boy choice too... maybe.

The former iCarly star might seem sweet, but she isn't afraid to dish out some serious shade about her ex, Andre Drummond.
After the two broke up, Jennette tweeted about the NBA player and it was NOT nice. "Sometimes I look at old photographs of my ex and I cry because he was so ugly," she tweeted in 2014. Although this was about her ex, it kind of makes you wonder why she dated a guy who wasn't attractive in her mind to begin with.

Even though everyone thought Zayn and Perrie Edwards would eventually tie the knot, the couple called off their engagement in August 2015 and it was heartbreaking.
After the split, Zayn not only began hooking up with other girls, very publicly might we add, but he also dissed Perrie and Little Mix.
During the Teen Choice Awards, Shady Music Facts posted a pic of both Little Mix and Fifth Harmony and asked fans to retweet for 5H and favorite for Little Mix. According to reports, Zayn retweeted the post a.k.a. he voted for 5H, which was a HUGE slap in the face to his ex and her band.

When Chris and Lucy Hale were an item (back in 2011), they were SO cute together.
The actors broke up in 2012 and, according to Chris' tweets, it wasn't a mutual decision. When a fan tweeted at the Secret Circle actor about his gorgeous girlfriend, Chris set the person straight and burned Lucy in the process. "Don't have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good," he tweeted. "There's a difference between celebrities and movie stars. Celebrities fade away, while movie stars stick around forever," he added. He has since publicly apologized.

Kendall and Harry Styles' romance might have been short lived, but that doesn't mean it was too short to earn an Instagram diss.
While in Paris for Paris Fashion Week in February 2014, Kendall took to Instagram and began posting photos with captions that were supposed to be advice for all of the ladies of the world. One of the pictures read, "do ur squats eat ur vegetables wear red lipstick don't let boys be mean to u," which was reportedly directed at the One Direction singer. This might be a bit of a stretch, but it's true that you shouldn't let boys hurt you.
In 2014, The Vamps singer and his model girlfriend, Kirstie Brittain, broke up and it wasn't for happy reasons.
According to James' tweets, his GF cheated on him! He took to social media to get his digs in and we totally get why he did it. Who would cheat on this hottie? "Trust and loyalty are the most important things in relationships. Without them, there's nothing," James tweeted in November 2014. "Not sure why I give people my heart so easily," he added. Poor guy, we'll love you.

Jai's relationship with Ariana Grande seemed cute AF, but once they split, Jai painted a totally different picture on Twitter.
In October 2013, Jai claimed that his former flame cheated on him with Nathan Sykes and his remarks were quite harsh. "Yes I was cheated on. Yes it does suck. Yes I was left for another man," he said on his Twitter page. He even went as far as calling Nathan out for the incident. "Nathan may be a top bloke or a sweet person, but what he did was just completely wrong," Jai revealed. Wowza.

After Rob and Rita Ora broke up in 2012, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star totally lost it. He went crazy on Twitter and said some super mean things that have since been deleted. Rob went so far as to accuse the singer of cheating on him. "But when a woman disrespects herself by messing with more than 20 men all while being in a relationship with a Faithful man..." Rob tweeted at the time.
"I just don't get how a woman can do that to her body. And your career hasn't even launched yet. I don't put up with sloppiness. LOYALTY," he also wrote.

Chris Brown | Rihanna
This two have had their fair share of issues. Their entire romance was full of ups and downs, so when they broke up (once again), it wasn't that surprising.
In 2013, Chris publicly announced he was no longer dating Rihanna via social media. "She's not mine if she's everybody else's," he wrote on Twitter in May of that year. This definitely sounds like Chris is accusing RiRi of cheating.
Rihanna later tweeted, "Settling is not an option! Nothing less than 100% loyalty, honesty, and respect!! Love ain't for kidz."
Obviously Lilo has had at least one crazy breakup that ended with a rude Twitter diss. In 2009, Lindsay and her DJ girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, broke up and the Mean Girls actress took to social media to explain why. "I was right all along. Cheat... Being cheated on does wonders for you," she posted on Twitter. Why is there so much cheating in Hollywood? Not cool, celebs, not cool.
After Nicki's ex, Safaree Samuels, released his new song, "Paradise," in early 2015, the "Anaconda" singer decided to tweet her feelings about her former bae. "Duval aint Lyin. But when u love ppl u try to hide their weaknesses sometimes. Protect them from looking corny. Live & ya learn poor thing," Nicki wrote in January 2015. "I can laugh about it now. And discuss it when I want. Side eyeing the barbz," she added. At least she only called him "corny." That's not too mean.
