The ladies aren’t the only ones to call out their exes for cheating — male celebrities do it all the time, too! Guess there’s a lot of bad blood out there, people.
Though Justin Bieber‘s Instagram comment claiming that Selena Gomez cheated on him with Zayn Malik (after she said he cheated on her) turned out to be a fabrication, there are still plenty of actual infidelity claims among the guys in Hollywood. Here are 10 of ’em that made you reach for the popcorn:
Ed famously called out Ellie Goulding (indirectly) for cheating on him — with One Direction's Niall Horan! — in his hit single, "Don't," crooning, "I never intended to be next // But you didn't need to take him to bed that's all // And I never saw him as a threat // Until you disappeared with him to have sex of course //It's not like we were both on tour // We were staying on the same f*cking hotel floor // And I wasn't looking for a promise or commitment // But it was never just fun and I thought you were different..."
Weirdly, Ellie denies ever being involved with the guy. "I did go on a few dates with Niall, but I was never in a relationship with Ed," she told ELLE. "I have absolutely no idea where that came from and why it was turned into such a big thing."
To this day, people wish JT and Britney Spears would get over their history and get back together... Or at least we do. But after their falling out, allegedly due to her infidelity, we don't see that happening, especially since he crooned, "Now there's just no chance, for you and me, there'll never be," after singing, "You don't have to say, what you did, // I already know, I found out from him," in "Cry Me a River."
Brit's "Everytime" is said to be a response to "CMaR." "I may have made it rain // Please forgive me // My weakness caused you pain // And this song's my sorry," she said.
The star of The Longest Ride dropped a major bombshell on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, alongside Two and a Half Men's Jon Cryer.
After a caller asked Jon whether or not it was awkward when Ashton Kutcher joined the series, since Jon dated Demi Moore prior to her marriage to Ashton, he admitted that it was uncomfortable at first. Then Scott came in with the kicker, saying, "If it makes you feel any better, he did sleep with one of my ex-girlfriends. But she was my current girlfriend at the time so..."
"I think it was the catalyst that broke him and Demi up," he added, in reference to his former girlfriend, Sara Leal, and her pal having a threesome with Ash back in the day. Scandal!
Jai famously took aim at Ariana Grande on Twitter, beginning with, "Yes I was cheated on. Yes it does suck. Yes I was left for another man." That man being Nathan Sykes.
"It has been tough for me, but I'm finally ready to move on," he added. "Once you are cheated on, you should never go back and I did because I wasn't ready to give up on love and something that was everything to me… Nathan may be a top bloke or a sweet person, but what he did was just completely wrong. He interfered with my life and did not respect my relationship, his actions caused me to not be able to sleep at night and not see the world as a beautiful place..." And so on, and so forth.
But Ari didn't take the comments lying down. "Girls... RESPECT YOURSELVES. Keep your head held high and speak only kind words. Know your truth... no one can ever take that away from you," she began. "It's always ok to defend yourself. My fans know what kind of person I am. Never let any man discredit u or the values you were raised with." While she never outright says she didn't cheat, it still sounds like denial to us.
November 2014 was a bad time for the cutie from The Vamps, as fans tagged him in a picture of his girlfriend, Kirstie Brittain, kissing a guy who was clearly NOT him.
"Not sure why I give people my heart so easily," he tweeted after the fact. "Trust and loyalty are the most important things in relationships. Without them, there's nothing."
Things got even less cryptic when he said, "Please can people stop tagging me in that picture in Instagram- I don't need to see that. Thanks for all the support."
Rob was clearly heated when he posted, "She cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together," on Twitter. "I wonder how many she will sleep with now that we apart? But I mean, 20?!!!!!"
Rita Ora had plenty to say after Rob accused her of such, including "Rob's d*ck was wack, I had to go get it somewhere else."
But in a separate statement, she whistled a different tune. "I've got no idea what you're talking about," she replied when asked about their relationship on an Australian radio program. Onwards and upwards, guys. Honestly, there's a place and time for everything and people change and evolve. I think time will tell really and you've just got to keep the train moving forward."
During another interview, she said, "I never thought it was actually a relationship, in all honest. I never mentally defined it as a 'boyfriend, girlfriend.'" So, you see, in her eyes, she didn't cheat... 'cause they weren't even an exclusive item.
Okay, so Kris himself never publicly said ex-wife Kim Kardashian cheated on him, but he supposedly told another one of his exes, Myla Sinanaj, that the KUWTK star did... with Kanye West!
According to TMZ, Kris "knew" Kim hooked up with her now-husband because he was "mysteriously absent" from their lavish wedding, even though he was such a ~close friend~ of hers.
"If he was such a close family friend, why wasn't he invited to the wedding?" he reportedly said to Myla.
Ah, the Chris Brown-Rihanna relationship saga is one for the books.
After the infamous incident that left RiRi's face a bruised mess the night of the 2009 Grammy Awards, the two spent some time apart. Unfortunately, they got back together for a short while to provide some more dramatic headlines.
Though not as dramatic (or traumatic) as the '09 attack, the possible cheating accusations were definitely drama-filled.
"If I drop all my h*es for you and we still don't work out you owe me some h*es," Rihanna cryptically Instagrammed. Chris' followup: "She's not mine if she's everybody else's." Hmm...
Chris doesn't hold back after a split. When he and girlfriend Lucy Hale called it quits, he tweeted that she thought she was too good for him. So you can imagine the tirade after he broke up with his fiancee, Hanna Beth. "When someone's boyfriend shows up at [their] house with flowers while you're in that someone's bed. Don't get involved with them," he tweeted.
To clarify, he wrote, "@chriszylka @TheHannaBeth no it was in the bed and the guy from Boy London was with the flowers. Pink flowers to be exact."
Not too long after, HB posted her response on Twitter, "When people try to put you down or call you names.. Ignore it. The only person they're actually talking about is themselves. Hate gets you nowhere. Always rise above. when people don't get their way, they want to bring you down. Don't let them. No reaction is better than any reaction. Making up lies about someone 'cause you are hurt will never work or make you feel better."
Chris continued his rant, but Hanna didn't give it too much more of her attention.
The rapper didn't hold back when he released his memoir, Gone 'Til November, calling out his former love, Tammy Torres, for sleeping with another guy while he was in jail. And you know who that other guy was? Drake!
"Finding out that she f*cking Drake was the absolute worst thing I could have found out," Wayne wrote. "Drizzy came to see me, he was like, 'Yeah, it's true.' Damn! This is the type of s*it a man never wants to find out while he is locked up."
