2017 was welcomed with a bang after an artist named JesusHands and his ex-wife changed the famous Hollywood Sign to read ‘Hollyweed’ in order to give people something to “smile and laugh out loud about…because 2016 was a crazy year.” Sure, what the duo did was illegal and something many have been punished for in the past, but NGL — it was funny AF!

While the prank itself was probably memorable enough, the Internet wanted to make sure it didn’t get lost in the shuffle — and decided to make it a meme!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was far from the greatest movie ever created, winning at the box office but failing with audiences. A far cry from The Avengers, if we do say so ourselves.
