As most of us already know, musical.ly is basically THE app of the moment, skyrocketing some of our favorite stars to social-media fame. Despite the fact that the app is music-inspired (read: if you know the words to a song, you can basc be a Muser), you don’t necessarily have to have musical talent to make it big… but it doesn’t hurt. When YouTubers became the biggest celebrities, we saw them breaking into the entertainment industry to appear in films and make music, and when Viners made it big, they were able to do the same thing. Seeing as musical.ly has over 50 million users under the age of 21, it makes sense that we’re starting to see some of the most popular accounts gain more ~mainstream~ success.
Since the app is fairly new and most of its stars are SUPER young, most of these social media influencers are just starting off and testing the waters of the music industry. There may be only 6 male musers-turned-serious-musicians for now, but looking into our crystal ball, we predict there will be a lot more joining them before long.
Jacob rose to fame on musical.ly and became one of the most popular Musers of all time. So it's not surprising that T3 Music Group execs saw a lot of potential in the 14-year-old and asked him to come on board to make original music.
His first ever single, "Sweatshirt," reached the Hot 100 charts in both the U.S. and Canada and since then he's released three more singles, an EP AND started a world tour!

This young rapper has an impressive contract with Atlantic Records and is managed by Nick Cannon, so it's safe to say he's doing pretty well for himself. His song "Fall in Luv" became an instant hit and his EP is set to debut in the first half of this year! Under the mentorship of the America's Got Talent host, it seems pretty obvious this rapper is going to go from Internet celeb to mainstream star pretty quick!
Duhitzmark has released two singles — "Mistletoe" and "Selfie"... SO FAR. The 15-year-old guy is managed by Tha Lights Global and "Selfie" has a 5-star rating on iTunes. Can't wait to hear more from this guy!

Zach is known by his combined 9 million subscribers (across his channels) as BruhitsZach, but he releases his music under his real name. His fourth single, "Odd Petals," dropped this month and his music videos are almost just as exciting as the tunes. When the teen recently chatted with us he mentioned he had an EP coming soon! Stay tuned!

This Muser and his brother Harvey come as a package deal on musical.ly and the same goes for their singing careers. The two guys have been in the studio a LOT lately, and already released two singles under their group name, Max & Harvey.
