Although YouTube beauty guru Daisy Marquez is only 19 years old, she and longtime boyfriend Alex Juarez seemed to be in it for the long haul. The couple met when they were in high school and dated for about six months before they decided to officially become boyfriend and girlfriend. Dalex graduated from HS, packed up their stuff and drove 30 hours from Dallas, Texas, to Los Angeles, California, to start their life together. Unfortunately, their fairy tale was cut short.
“Me and Alex are no longer together; we just decided to go our separate ways,” Daisy explained in a recent YT video. “He’s back in Texas and I’m staying here in California, focusing on my career. All I have to say is, it is what it is. Life moves on.”
The teenager didn’t want to give too many details on what caused the pair to suddenly break up, but she did vlog the days that immediately followed and we could see that she was obviously very upset. Daisy knew Alex would be watching the video, so she wanted to address him personally.
She said, “I wish you and your family the best. I don’t really have anything else to say besides that.”
You can watch the entire breakup-announcement video below:
UGH! Splits are tough no matter what, but we’re really curious to know what the heck happened between Dalex — they just seemed so happy together, you know?!
Like Daisy and Alex, these celebrities also met their significant others in school:
Liam Payne & Sophia Smith
Even though all One Direction fans wish they could date one of the hunks, they usually are taken, which stinks. Although we're bummed that Liam isn't available, the fact that his GF is his childhood crush makes us smile and let's face it, a little bit jealous of their romance. Liam and Sophia met when they attended St. Peter's Collegiate School in Wolverhampton, England back in the day and although Liam asked Sophia out on numerous accounts, she reportedly turned him down a few times before finally saying yes in August 2013. These two lovebirds are SO cute together and since they've known each other so long maybe this relationship will last a lot longer than Liam’s usual relationships do.

Tyler Posey & Seana Gorlick
Teen Wolf's leading man was formally engaged to his middle school sweetheart, which was adorable. Tyler reportedly met his now ex-fiancée when he was only 11 years old. Tyler and Seana then went to Hart High School in Santa Clarita, California together and after graduating they both went on to rock the entertainment world, (Seana is a makeup artist) and their love grew. Tyler proposed to Seana in 2013, after 10 years of dating. Sadly the couple called it quits in 2014. The good news is that Tyler is now single.

Heather Morris & Taylor Hubbell
High school love can last, just talk to Heather and her hubbie Taylor, who met while attending high school in Arizona. Although they went to the same school and consider themselves high school sweethearts, they didn't really start dating until Taylor was playing college baseball. The Glee star went on to marry her sweetheart in May 2015 with some of her famous friends and her family there to support her. The two already have one child together, a son named Elijah, and they are currently expecting their second baby!

Matthew Morrison & Kristen Bell
Yep, the Glee hottie and the Veronica Mars actress were once an item and it was all thanks to NYU. Both stars are now married to other people, but back in college Matthew and Kristen actually dated. The two actors attended Tisch School of the Arts at NYU before making it big and eventually breaking up. "I actually went to college with Matty Morrison," Kristen told Us Weekly in the past. "We actually dated very briefly, so I’ll have to say maybe Matt Morrison is my favorite part of Glee for various reasons."
Elizabeth Banks & Max Handleman
Funny gal, Elizabeth and her husband Max met when they were 18 years old and just little freshmen in college. The Pitch Perfect star actually met her future hubbie on the first day of school at the University of Pennsylvania. The two started dating in 1992 and waited more than 10 years to wed. Max, who is a sportswriter and producer, popped the question after 10 years of dating and the two officially got married in 2003. They now have two children together and are basically living a fairytale.
Eminem & Kim Scott
Eminem and Kim's romance has been rocky at times, but their love didn’t start out that way. The two met in high school when the rapper was 15 years old and Kim was only 13 years old. Growing up, Kim and her sister actually lived with Eminem and his mother for a little while, which is kind of wild looking back at it. The pair, who attended Lincoln High School in Warren, Michigan, had their daughter Hailie Mathers in 1995 and in 1999 the couple wed for the first time. They then got divorced in 2001 before getting remarried in 2006. A few months later they got divorced for the final time.
Joey Fatone & Kelly Baldwin
The NSYNC singer met the love of his life while in high school. He started dating Kelly when he was a teenager and when the band made it big she was by his side. They have had their ups and downs and broken up a few times along the way, but Joey and Kelly have always found their way back to one another. They officially tied the knot in 2004 and have two daughters together, one of which they had before they got married. They are now one big happy family.

Prince William & Kate Middleton
Prince William made headlines when his romance with a non-royal was revealed and since then the public has embraced the now-Duchess. Even though the couple didn’t marry until 2011, William and Kate have been together for a LONG time (they first got together in 2002). In fact they were secretly dating while they both attended the University of St. Andrews. Now the couple has become the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and have two children together. Plus, William is set to become the King of England one day, so no biggie.
Snoop Dogg & Shante Broadus
The "Drop It Like It's Hot" singer met his wife Shante while going to school at Polytechnic High School in Long Beach, California. The adorable high school sweethearts have been married since 1997. Even though they got divorced in 2004, they renewed their vows in 2008 and they've been going strong ever since. They now have three children together and are clearly still in love.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Brad Hall
The hilarious Veep actress and her longtime husband met all the way back in college. The two first met through a comedy troupe that Brad ran at Northwestern University. The pair tied the knot in 1987 and have two boys together. They live in Los Angeles and when Julia isn’t busy kicking butt in the acting world she gives back to the environment with her hubbie through numerous eco-friendly projects. PS: Both Julia and Brad were once cast members of Saturday Night Live!

Bono & Ali Hewson
U2's front man has been a one-woman man for a LONG time. Bono met his wife Ali when they were only 15 years old and they were both going to school at Mount Temple Comprehensive School in Dublin, Ireland. The couple tied the knot in 1982 and have four children together. They have been married for 33 years now and when Bono isn’t on the road he is back in Ireland with the love of his life and their family.
