We were just minding our business yesterday evening when we heard news that left us absolutely shooketh — according to People magazine, Spider-Man: Homecoming co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya are actually dating in real life! A source told the mag, “They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man. They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.” BE STILL OUR HEARTS!!
Unfortunately, however, it doesn’t look a real-life Tomdaya romance is actually happening. The 20-year-old saw our tweet about the situation (’cause, ya know, she follows us and we’re basically BFFs #humblebrag) and responded by kinda denying the rumors…at least the ones that said the actors have gone on vacations together.

The 21-year-old also joked about the whole thing, confirming that the last ~vacation~ they went on was the Spider-Man press tour.

Did either Tom or Zendaya actually deny that they’re dating each other? No. Did they confirm it? Also no. You can come up with your own conclusion on this one, people.
While Zendaya and Tom may not be a real-life couple, these famous pairs DID meet on the set of a superhero film:
Nicholas Hoult & Jennifer Lawrence
MOVIE: X-Men: First Class
By the time the first installment in the X-Men prequel franchise hit theaters in May 2011, Joult had already been dating for ~5 months. Though the twosome kept the relationship pretty low key, everyone was well aware of the couple's separation. Both times. Maybe third time will be a charm? (Pretty please?)

Michael Fassbender & Zoe Kravitz
MOVIE: X-Men: First Class
Shortly before Zoe dated her Gossip Girl boyfriend, Penn Badgley, she was rumored to have hooked up with her X-Men co-star, who's 12 years her senior, after they were spotted arm-in-arm during a romantic stroll through NYC in 2011.
Clearly, they've both moved on, as she's currently dating musician Twin Shadow and he's dating Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander.
Tye Sheridan & Sophie Turner
MOVIE: X-Men: Apocalypse
Could Cyclops and Jean Grey be taking their love off screen? With the latest installment in the X-Men prequel franchise hitting theaters on May 27, fans have been keeping a close eye on its stars; particularly, its cute young additions, who have been spotted on lunch dates together since September 2015. Nothing has been confirmed, though, so stay tuned!
Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield
MOVIE: The Amazing Spider-Man
Everything seemed all well and good in the land of Stonefield ever since the pair met on the set of 2011's The Amazing Spider-Man; that is, until early 2015, when the first rumors of a "break" made headlines.
Shortly after, the two were reportedly back on... for another 6 months. Sadly, there's been no word of a rekindled romance after their October 2015 breakup.
Kirsten Dunst & Tobey Maguire
Of course, Emma & Andrew weren't the first Spider-Man couple. Back during the filming of the first trilogy, Kirsten & Tobey fell in love on set... for roughly 7 months. The relationship reportedly didn't make it to the release of the first film. Perhaps "love" was too strong a word?
Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds
MOVIE: Green Lantern
When Blake & Ryan first started filming their superhero flick in summer 2010, Blake was still in a relationship with longtime boyfriend Penn Badgley and Ryan was married to Scarlett Johansson. It wasn't until September 2012, when both were out of those serious relationships and ready to move on, that they started dating each other, then, soon after, getting engaged, married and having a baby.
Tom Hiddleston & Elizabeth Olsen
MOVIE: Avengers: Age of Ultron
Technically, Tom's part was cut from the second Avengers movie because, according to him, "In test screenings, audiences had overemphasised Loki's role, so they thought that because I was in it, I was controlling Ultron, and it was actually imbalancing people's expectations."
So, since they were both, at least, meant to be in the film, we're going to guess that the duo met at least once around that time, when Lizzie was engaged to her Very Good Girls co-star, Boyd Holbrook.
But it wasn't until October 2014, when principle photography began on their film, I Saw the Light, that they began to get close. By May 2015, their coupledom had commenced.
Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner
On another technicality, Ben & Jen both appeared in 2001's Pearl Harbor. Ben had a starring role, while Jen was more of a background character.
It wasn't until 2003's Daredevil that the two started to get close; even more so after Ben's high-profile split from Jennifer Lopez in January 2004 & Jen's split from Michael Vartan in March of the same year.
Jamie Bell & Kate Mara
MOVIE: Fantastic Four
Though the film starring Miles Teller & Michael B. Jordan was a box-office bomb, at least something good came out of the movie.
After his separation from wife Evan Rachel Wood in May 2014, Jamie seemed to keep his love life out of the spotlight. But, by April 2015, he was flaunting his newfound romance with his F4 co-star, and continues to do so to this day.
