Stars like Debby Ryan and Sarah Hyland both spoke out about being abused by their significant others in the past, in hopes of educating fans about the dangers of domestic violence. Usually, a star who has been assaulted cuts off ties with their S.O. immediately, but in some cases, he or she chooses to give them another chance and forgive.
Let’s just get one thing straight right off the bat — abusive relationships of any kind are NOT okay. And as much as you might ship a celebrity couple, it’s not cool to encourage their reconciliation after verbal/physical/emotional assault has occurred. Okay? Okay.
