Justin Bieber debuted his video for ‘Boyfriend’ Thursday night and it did not disappoint. Thirty seconds in, the screen goes black and the video starts over.

That’s right, that footage he debuted two weeks ago on The Voice of melting icicles, diamond earrings and hands reaching up and grabbing his body was all a tease. The real video features numerous vintage cars (we lost count after seven), stunt driving, some fancy footwork from Justin and his gold sneakers and a ‘Party In The U.S.A’ style dance party. Apparently, if you and your friends have not engaged in a spontaneous dance off surrounded by vintage cars, you are lame.

So without further ado, here are our favorite parts of the video:

:27 – Is that an iPhone 5?! Seriously, what kind of a phone is that?

:54 – No fondue cameo. Sad face.

1:17 – Texting & driving Singing & drifting is the most dangerous thing you can do behind the wheel.

1:20 – Justin seems to have a hard time shifting gears. Awkward.

1:30 – Weird hat girl steals the video! She’s cray.

1:49 – Swaggy hair comb!

2:58 – Chunky Bieber??

3:00 – He finally dances. LOVE the shoulder wiggle!

3:13 – Say what you will about Justin, but you can’t do that with your feet.

3:19 – Gah, we wish he would just grab the back of her head and kiss her at the end of this. Weak.

I thought the video sucked. I loved the first 30 seconds, I wish that was the style of the video. But no. Instead, it shows him walking out of a car and then some chick shows up and he’s all lovey dovey. LOL WTF.

To be quite honest, I thought the video was kind of bland. I was expecting more, due to the hype of the song and the sneak peeks. Either way, the video was generic. Seen the same concept used in the majority of videos out there. Nothing special here.
