Romeo and Juliet is arguably the best known love story ever told, and now it's getting yet another retelling. We're sure you've heard of the latest adaptation — starring Douglas Booth and Hailee Steinfeld as the star crossed lovers — but now there's a brand new trailer for you to feast your eyes on.
This is pretty much the first re-telling of R&J on the big screen since Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes played the ill-fated lovers in Baz Luhrmann's quirky adaptation. As many of you know, that adaptation was set in present day Venice, but they spoke the language of Shakespeare.
This version of Romeo and Juliet also stars Gossip Girl‘s Ed Westwick as Tybalt and Kodi Smit-McPhee as Benvolio, and is hitting theaters on October 11. Watch the new trailer above, and see the new poster below!
