The wounds are still very much open after Cory Monteith's tragic passing on July 13. But, in Darren Criss' words, the members of the Glee cast, as well as all the others Cory affected throughout his life, are slowly picking up the pieces.
During Darren's latest interview with Conan O'Brien, he speaks kindly of the man he knew, saying it's been a "very rough time" since Cory's death, but there's a few things we all need to remember: "He was a really funny guy; had a great sense of humor, and he loved life, and he always took care of his friends, and wanted his friends to be happy, so it's only right that we try and start to smile again, and try to laugh again. That's something that he would've wanted."
Darren continues, "On a personal note, he will be severely missed, but I'm just so happy that a guy like him got to touch as many lives as he did while we were all lucky enough to have him."
According to the latest reports, Cory's Glee character, Finn Hudson, will be written off the show in the third episode of the upcoming fifth season. FOX Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly says the episode "will deal directly with the incidents involved with Cory's passing and the drug abuse in particular," however, he would not confirm if Finn dies of a drug overdose.
