In the middle of the rumors that Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins potentially split before the release of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (see the details, then weigh in with other fans here), the 24-year-old actor dropped a surprise music video for fans to gnaw on before the big TMI debut later this month.

On Friday, the star left Shadowhunters guessing through the weekend after vaguely tweeting:

Gibson Guitar in the UK revealed Surprise #1 Monday morning, saying: "Music Monday! Actor / Musician @Jamiebower soon to be seen in @MortalMovie performing his own composition Better Man." Take a listen above! Personally, we're loving the lyrics.
