It’s been a rough few months (to say the least) for the Glee cast what with the passing of Cory Monteith. However, rather than focus all of their efforts on the tragedy, the show creators opted for something more… upbeat.

The first promo for the two-part season premiere is 30 seconds worth of ’60s goodies. Mainly because it’s a tribute to… The Beatles! The episodes will showcase everything from the famed foursome’s signature ‘dos to the epic fashion and, of course, the best tunes. Here’s the tracklist:

“Yesterday”
“Drive My Car”
“Got to Get You Into My Life”
“You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”
“Help”
“A Hard Day’s Night”
“I Saw Her Standing There”
“All You Need Is Love”
“Get Back”
“Here Comes the Sun”
“Something”
“Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”
“Hey Jude”
“Let It Be”

In case you were wondering, the footage does NOT make any mention of Cory’s character, Finn. However, the third episode, airing on October 10, will place a spotlight on the late actor.

Glee, Season 5′s two-part premiere begins Thursday, September 26 on FOX. What do you think of the first-look promo trailer? Do you think the producers should’ve made mention of Finn from the get-go? Tell us all your thoughts in the comments below, or on our Glee message board!
