Let’s be honest, being a teenager is hard. There’s so much pressure to fit in at school and teens can often get discouraged. We’ve all been guilty at times of trying to be someone we’re not just to be accepted. Sometimes that even meant giving up things we love in order to gain approval from our peers. It’s important for everyone to remember that our dreams matter regardless of what anyone else thinks. Also, teens especially should know that they can achieve anything they set their minds to, they just need to work hard.

That’s the message of the videos in this post, to go after our goals in life. Both Kate Nash and Laird Hamilton have faced adversity in their lives and yet they didn’t give up. They are both successful in their careers and that is because they worked through their setbacks and reached their dreams.

These videos are very inspiring, and teach us the importance of perseverance. In the videos we learn about how Kate and Laird each achieved their goals and how they both never gave up. These two success stories show that if we truly love something we should go after it and not be afraid of what others might think.

Plus, when we face setbacks on our way to our dream, we can’t give up! Keep trying and we can all be just as successful as Kate and Laird. They are living proof that anything is possible if we work hard and don’t let anything get in our way.
