One way or another, One Direction fans always manage to find a way to listen to the British-Irish boy band’s latest music prior to its release date. And that’s exactly what happened with the guys’ cover of Blondie’s “One Way or Another” a couple weeks back. Unfortunately, unlike most Internet leaks, this one was a bit more emotional as the song was recorded for charity. Louis Tomlinson wrote on his Twitter,

On a brighter note, the tune just got its first radio airplay this morning on Capital FM, so hopefully that’ll lead to more purchases of the track, which will be available on iTunes on February 17. There is something seriously wrong with this generation and you..Blondie will alway have the best version of this song by far, one direction are just a pathetic little play group that lack originality and moral decorum. Do you ever pause to wonder through you haze of pre-pubescent lust ‘why don’t one direction create an original song for comic relief?’. I can answer your query in one word- TALENTLESS. Please keep your thoughtless, uneducated and frankly idiotic opinions to yourself, and dear, I hope you don’t breed. You should feel ashamed to be so simple minded- I am certainly ashamed that you are a part of my generation. So, you clueless cretin, consider yourself and all you other directioners dealt with. If you want some recommendations for truly brilliant, ORIGINAL music, feel free to reply.

Oh, this was such a good song. WAS. Before one direction ruined it. Blondie will forever be the best, there’s no question about it. They make me ashamed to be British :(
